Flare

RPG Engine preview I am creating a Free/Libre Action Roleplaying Engine. It is cross-platform (Win, OSX, GNU/Linux) and written in C++ and SDL. I'm working on all of the code, 3D models, special effects, and animations. I'm collaborating with Open Game Art for background music, sound effects, and concept art.

Open Game Art

OpenGameArt.org logo I am a contributor and editor over at OpenGameArt.org, a site that hosts open-licensed art for use in video games. I run the Weekly Challenge and can often be found in their IRC channel on FreeNode.

Burn City Rollers

Burn City Rollers logo I am the web developer for Burn City Rollers, the local roller derby team. I helped revamp the html and css, added security updates to their forums, and helped them migrate to Wordpress.

Wazoo Radio

Wazoo Radio logo I worked with Wazoo Productions to set up their podcast feed. I created a tool that makes it easy to add <item> sections to an iTunes RSS feed. Their excellent radio show is now available through iTunes.

Auburn University Libraries

MDRL usage screenshot I work at RBD Library at Auburn University. I work on a lot of behind-the-scenes system integration. I also modify existing software, like using Google Calendar's API with a custom front-end and modifying open source VuFind for a new search engine. My favorite project built from the ground up is our Media & Digital Resource Lab live usage view.
